1J85 Permalloy Wire, also called Supermalloy or Ni80Mo5 soft magnetic wire, is premium iron-nickel-molybdenum precision alloy wire conforming to GB/T 15018 standard, containing 79.5%-80.5% nickel and 4.8%-5.2% molybdenum. It delivers top-tier soft magnetic performance, far superior to 1J79 wire under ultra-weak magnetic field environments.
This alloy wire boasts ultra-high initial and maximum permeability, extremely low coercive force, near-zero magnetostriction, plus ultra-low hysteresis and eddy current loss, delivering unmatched shielding effect to isolate tiny stray magnetic interference and protect faint sensitive electrical signals. After professional vacuum or hydrogen annealing to eliminate internal stress, the wire releases its optimal stable magnetic properties and becomes highly sensitive to micro magnetic signals.
Our 1J85 permalloy wire is produced via multi-pass precision drawing and full strict batch quality control. It features uniform chemical composition, tight diameter tolerance, smooth bright surface and outstanding ductility. The wire is soft and bendable, ideal for tight, compact winding of miniature coils and micro electromagnetic components.
